The Föhren valley offers many points of interest and activities. Located just beyond the Mosel, Föhren is popular with nature-lovers and walkers for its magnificent Meulenwald forest.

The historic city of Trier, with its monuments from the Roman Empire and other sites, is about 20 minutes by car from Schloss Föhren. The Trierer Golfplatz golf course is only 5 minutes away by car. The Mosel valley can be reached by car in about 10 minutes.
